Make sure the USB drive is plugged into the computer. Click "Start" and select "My Computer." Right-click the USB drives icon and select format from the menu.

Select the information for the drive in the format window. If you are unsure, click "Default Settings." Click the format button and wait for it to finish.

Warning

Formatting will erase all files from the usb memory stick.
